A new crisis has unfolded for the New Labour Government after some groups claimed that computer games produced more money last year than films.
The resulting public alarm yesterday lead to panic on the streets of London and riots breaking out over much of the country.
When asked for comment, a representative from the government blamed Call of Duty 2 for making most of the money and teaching people how to riot.
The UK Film Council is expected to hold emergency talks with the government in the next 24 hours to discuss bailing out the film industry.
Speaking to NGR from his moon base made of gold, one of those profiting from the violent game sales is Activision CEO Bobby Kotick who said “We are very good at keeping people focused on the deep depression”.
Fortunately, TV sales have still made the most money of all, no thanks to ITV’s award winning Big Brother series.
The crisis is expected to be brought up during Prime Minister’s questions this Wednesday, with the Conservatives due to outline their solution to this problem, as well as solutions to the recession, the war and global warming.
