I can’t believe I’m posting this nonsense, but it caught my eye. Funster.us has featured an off road vehicle that has been tricked out for the “All Terrain Gamer” or ATG for short. Seriously, I’m not making this up. Apparently in an attempt to capture the hopes and dreams of the gaming public, Toyota has taken a version of their Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and added:
A quartet of Xbox consoles within a Warthog from Halo and a Monster energy drink dispenser to keep you going through those marathon gaming sessions. You will find four 24″ LCD monitors from Samsung adorning the cabin center, swinging out to provide individual gamers with their own display.

The question for me is, what games would you be able to play while driving off-road? Now, if this super-truck came with an advanced motion dampening technology, that doesn’t actually exist yet, then we might be able to throw down some Left 4 Dead 2 (which is awesome!). Otherwise, I can’t imagine what kind of asshat would actually pay for this vehicle. I just love how corporations try to interpret the interests of gamers for tertiary products.
“Dear Toyota, Phil here, just give me a car that drives itself so I can drink as much as Player66 does and still get home safely. Can you make me better at video games too? I kinda suck according to a few people I just met on Xbox Live.”
