You think it’s a good idea to force me to be connected to the internet to play a 100% offline game? Why on earth do you ban me from playing an Indie Game whilst offline, and make some, not all, Arcade games revert to being free trials? Whichever suit sat down and thought “damn, a tiny minority of kids are stealing from our immorally gained money pile with their piracy, we must kick everybody else in the face as punishment” should be fired.
My internet has died. Be There broadband are awful and apparent broke something whilst changing us from a dynamic to a static IP. It’s not really that import, as my 360 could be disconnected from the net for a thousand different, perfectly reasonable, reasons. At this time I was half way through writing my review of In The Pit. Never mind, I don’t have IRC or Twitter, at least I can still… “To play this game, sign in to Xbox LIVE.” WHY!? Why would I ever need to do that!? It has not a single online mode and the game is on my hard drive. I was connected to the net a few minuets ago and you have my account details, so you know all of that is fine.
I paid hundreds of pounds for this console, I then paid you £40 for the privilege to be called a “faggot” and for you to do nothing. To then take away the ability to play a game I already have, likely because of your fears you wont make quite as much money from the general public, is terrible.
Yes, this is rant you have all heard me have before, and blah blah yes I will keep paying for this shit – because I run a video game website.
If you are considering buying a games console. Just don’t fucking bother with the Xbox. For every one good thing it provides, it takes at least two more away.

There´s a good reason for it. Something to do with unrated content. I think. Actually I´m not sure. It´s probably a pretty bad reason.
At this point the ONLY possible conclusion is that this review is cursed. I should never have donkey punched that old gypsy lady.
A license transfer will fix the XBLA game reverting to trial versions. That’s an easy fix. The Indie Game being online only is retarded, however. I have a copy of Carneyvale that I can’t play because I’m almost never online.
I blame the Jews. Actually I blame Kramer.
I just don’t understand how M$ has such a huge fanbase when all M$ has done is make you pay out the ass for everything and only gives you the same few games over and over again. M$ has only one thing that they care about, their bank account. Every move M$ has made this gen (coming out a year early, the arcade, crapy hardware, ect) has only been in favor of M$ and not the gamer.
This is why Iv supported sony since the PS1. Sony knows that they have to care about the gamer first, and in turn the gamer will care and support you. Yes the ps3 was priced high at first (I paid $800 for my 60gig B/C ps3) but it was worth every fucking cent.
In short, M$ knows how to play the idiots and get them to pay anything for a piece of shit just as long as it’s shiny. And that makes me a little bit sick to see just how easy it is to do so.
If you’re not logged to Xbox Live to show your achievements online then how will the community use your current gamer score to measure your penis?
